Exchange promotes Knowledge

Learning and understanding about nature and ecological relationships are critical prerequisites for successfully practicing species conservation. The imparting of knowledge and creating awareness for the need to preserve biodiversity are therefore the cornerstones of our associations and the zoo. Direct scientific communication in the form of conferences, workshops and symposia are of significant importance. Other events in which current topics are discussed, strategies decided upon and, above all, thoughts and ideas exchanged, also play a crucial role.

Our Contribution

For years YAQU PACHA e.V. and the Nuremberg Zoo have been organising and financing conferences, congresses and meetings aimed at raising awareness for species protection topics and promoting professional exchange between various scientists and project partners. In some cases, YAQU PACHA e.V. also funds further training courses for South American students abroad, enabling them to learn new technologies and methods.

List of conferences that have taken place with the support of YAQU PACHA / Tiergarten Nürnberg.
